I am a Year 2 International Baccalaureate student who has been tutoring primary school students and GCSE-level students for a few years. As a student myself, I know that learning (especially with a private tutor) can seem boring at first. As an international student, I also understand that learning in a second language is daunting. It is therefore important for us that we reach a mutual understanding as to what pace and what style of learning is more effective for an enjoyable and productive learning experience. I usually like to make brief notes with my tutees as we go through content so that we can refer to them later, but what's more important is that you really understand the content: your learning is my priority. Please tell me if our current learning isn't working for you. We can always try something new!
