I have helped tutor family friends with GCSEs and some A-Level subjects. We would start off with figuring out what topics the student is struggling with to create a baseline for what we need to cover. Then we would start with the simpler basics of those topics before continuing on to more advanced questions when the student feels confident enough to move on. The more repetition of these subjects will make it easier for the student to remember them. At the start of each lesson we will do a starter to recap the last lesson to make sure the student is confident with the previous lesson before moving on to the next subject.
