Taught classes in person during my higher school years and had to conduct many presentations as the Head of my House with lowers grades. Mainly use of presentation and visual learning instead of the use of notes. I had basic training in dealing with children. Presentations include basic maths, algebra, probability, graphs, geometry and statistics. Self-made presentations for students to interact with real-life situations to find out solutions and help them while studying. The use of short videos while explaining them in short intervals also helped students a lot. Most of my students enjoy the classes and have positive feedback about what they're being taught. Also, assign them small tasks to do outside the tutoring space to keep them engaged with the subjects and not lose interest in the subject. Communication is the most important and always want the students to like the subject and pursue them instead of finding it boring . At a young age if they dislike the subjects they find it as a problem always and won't like them in the future. Makin it easy and interactive to learn is a task I specialise in. Due to covid lots of classes were online and this helped me to understand how hard it is to maintain the attention span as we use our laptops or phones, so I would always keep my classes very interactive and try to keep all my students have their say in each class.
