I am a patient teacher who looks forward to helping you achieve your learning goals. Over the years, I have taught students from primary school to the collegiate level.
While I am working on my PhD, I am also a Graduate Assistant. As a part of my duties, I help grade papers for students of all ages (-18-65+) and English-speaking abilities. For me, grading is more than a number; it is an opportunity to help students learn from their current assignments to be able to excel in future assignments.
Previously, I served as a tutor for primary and secondary students. In this role, they would begin by presenting their school assignments to me. From there, I would help them with their assignment in addition to creating other lessons to help them learn. I work at the student's pace to ensure they understand the assignment and take the time to ask questions.
I have taught in the United States, Kenya, Tanzania, Haiti, and Brazil. Each of these experiences has varied from classrooms to one-on-one tutoring. Regardless, I enjoy giving students the one-on-one attention they deserve to learn and excel. I believe it is essential to have open communication and provide a safe environment in which the students can develop the skills they need in each session.
For me, this is more than a job; it is an opportunity to help generations learn and excel.
Please feel free to message me should you have any questions. I look forward to working with you and helping you to achieve your learning goals.
