I am currently a Masters in Art & Design student at the Royal College of Art, London. My practice is surrounded by various art forms which includes photography that I have been exploring for almost 6-7 years now. I currently use 35mm film for my photography work but I prefer to switch my tool based on what I have in front of me and the accessibility of tools. I believe photography as an art form is so accessible in today's age and can be explored by anyone with the right guidance to observe and explore the world in front of us. I love teaching and I am very passionate about photography as it does form part of my practice. I believe the key to photography is learning how to observe our surroundings because there is a special and unique story being told by everything around us, we just need to capture that story through this very accessible and convenient and practice the medium as our art form. Photography is an incredibly accessible art form, serving as a powerful means of self-expression through our surroundings. In this digital age, the ubiquity of smartphones and affordable cameras democratizes the art, enabling anyone to capture the beauty around them. What makes photography so compelling is its ability to transcend language, allowing us to communicate emotions, stories, and perspectives uniquely. To embark on this expressive journey, one needs only an observant eye and a willingness to explore. It's about noticing the details, framing moments, and embracing the beauty in the ordinary. Practicing photography fosters a heightened awareness of our environment, encouraging us to find meaning in the mundane. Ultimately, the accessibility of photography empowers us all to be storytellers, capturing the essence of our lives and sharing our personal narratives with the world.
