Note: I understand that every student has their own learning style, strengths, and areas of improvement, and I use this knowledge to create a personalized approach that ensures effective and meaningful learning.

My lessons are designed to be interactive and dynamic - it will be a discussion between you & me in a safe, collaborative space. I find that this helps apply the learned concepts to the real world a lot easier, further consolidating the information in our long term memories.

Speaking of applicability, I also encourage learning by example. I have worked in clinical and forensic settings for the past 3 years and I emphasize the importance of real-life examples. I will be sharing anonymized and ethically-appropriate examples with students, where needed, to help provide a clearer picture of the modules we study. This helps see the direct relevance of psychology, research and statistics in our lives.

I also incorporate various opportunities for students to apply what they have learned. Whether it's conducting experiments, analyzing data sets, or solving practical problems, I provide guided practice sessions that reinforce understanding and build confidence. I believe that by actively engaging with the material, students develop a stronger grasp of the concepts and are better prepared to excel in their academic pursuits.
