Hello! I am Sathvika Krishnan, a 21-year-old biologist, conservationist and musician. Having already achieved A*s and 9s in A Level and GCSE Biology and Music respectively, I am currently pursuing an MBiol Biology Degree at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford. As an Associate of the Royal Schools of Music, I have completed all of my grades and achieved a diploma for Western Classical piano. Additionally, I am trained a South Indian Classical vocalist and Nattuvangum artist.

I am an experienced tutor with a passion for sharing my love for subjects and interests with others. Over the summer, I offer a range of 1-1 and group tutoring services:

I am happy to teach students of all abilities on Zoom or in-person at my purpose-built studio. By incorporating various teaching methods and platforms (including use of technology), I aim to give students a holistic understanding of each subject. I tailor each lesson to the student's personal needs and will combine different aspects of the subject and relevant course within the lessons; this broadens the student's understanding of this wonderful field of knowledge. I believe that engaging students in discussions, interactive activities and practice questions will strengthen their scientific or musical foundations and help them achieve the grades they desire. Through teaching, I hope to share my notorious passion and love for biology and music with my students! I am also able to provide advice and support for university applicants; particularly regarding personal statements and interviews.

My studio, online and in-person, is currently open so please do message me! I mainly teach during vacation periods. Having lessons during this period of time is extremely beneficial for students as it allows them to reconsolidate what they have learnt so they are put in good stead for the public examinations. This period of time is also crucial for university applicants.
