My experience:
I am a student at the University of York studying Business Management and have just completed my second year. I offer tutoring in both business studies and sociology having gathered considerable experience learning the subjects at A-level standard and so am aware of the level of detail the specification expects from students. Through my youth work, I also have experience teaching young people both in groups and individually and am aware of the importance of tailoring my teaching style to students' specific needs and styles of learning.

What I offer:
- Tailored learning plans based on the specific needs and learning styles of each student for both business and sociology (based on the specification)
- I aim to make each session as interactive as possible with opportunities for discussions and time to ask any questions that the student may have
-I aim to break down concepts and make them clear and concise in order to make topics more manageable and offer flexible online scheduling to find a time that works best for you
- Each PowerPoint I put together will be shared with the student so that they can refer back to the material at any time

In terms of exam practice, I am happy to find and mark practice questions and discuss feedback in sessions to ensure that my comments make sense to the student and to help develop any skills they may be struggling with.

My main aim is to build confidence and help each student reach their academic goals through continuous support and encouragement.
