Working with virtual lessons I find it important to keep my sessions engaging with mini quizzes, worked examples and of course plenty of opportunities for general questions surrounding the child’s school work in the subject. If desired, I also appreciate sending the child off with extra ‘homework’ to solidify what we covered in a session as I find that repeating the process is key in maths to find understanding.
I have experience tutoring younger secondary school children in maths as well as many years helping my younger sibling and peers.
Having achieved an A* at A-level, my mathematical proficiency is excellent and through my degree I continue to practice and extend my knowledge of fundamental and high-level maths in all areas of the subject.
