I am a second year law student and a PASS leader at my university where I help first years students get acclimated with university life and the contents of their law degree. I aim to use a variety of techniques to enhance knowledge about key legal concepts as well as OSCOLA referencing. These techniques include mini quizzes, building a coherent structure for lecture notes and seminar preparation as well as looking at navigating legal databases in a quest to find legal sources - textbooks, journal articles, key cases relating to specific modules. My lessons will be student led in that anyone requiring tutoring can let me know about specific concepts they’re struggling with and I will plan my lessons accordingly. The main areas most law students struggle with pertains to writing a formal legal essay, answering problem questions, how to reference correctly and appropriately as well as managing the balance between work, social life and well being, school work and any other commitments.
