I spend the first couple if lessons building a rapport with the student and getting familiar with the student's school curriculum. Then depending on how much of the content has been covered, I prefer to cover content at a slightly faster rate than their school so they can make the most of the lesson and spend their lesson at school making the most of the provided questions. I spend the first couple if lessons building a rapport with the student and getting familiar with the student's school curriculum. Then depending on how much of the content has been covered, I prefer to cover content at a slightly faster rate than their school so they can make the most of the lesson and spend their lesson at school making the most of the provided questions. After teaching a certain concept, I ensure a few practise questions are given to the student to help cement the topics taught.
