I have 16 years experiences with working with children from 5-12 years old, both as a class teacher and Assistant Headteacher. As well as being a classroom practitioner I am also a qualified special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) which I believe allows me to effectively support children of all abilities.

I am extremely passionate and enthusiastic about my work and look forward to working with all children!

I like to ensure all of my lessons are inviting, well paced and interactive. I am confident with adapting lessons at the time of noticing that changes need to be made. I believe the basis of meeting children’s needs is to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment is created.

I have a vast range of experience and enjoy using this to support and further learning opportunities for all children.

I believe all children learn in a different ways and it is crucial to explore these with each child to individualise the learning journey for each child.

Teaching resilience and developing problem solving skills underpins all successful learning.
