I have 32 years of teaching experience at undergraduate level and have a certificate in education .I have course led a BA Animation Course which came 8th in the world for production excellence in 2D Animation at the Rookie awards in 2021 . As well as being a lecturer I am also an award winning animator and have animated and directed my own films that have been shown on television and in festivals around the world.I have also animated on children’s shows such as ‘Charlie and Lola’ The Secret show’ and ‘The little Princess’. I have worked on title sequences for comedy shows such as 2DTV and Have I got news for you’

I offer lectures and practical workshops as well as one to one tutoring in all aspects of the animation and film production process and making short and long form animation. My lessons are creative yet practical using fantastic examples of pre existing work from studios who I have close contact with.

I have also taught short courses in film photography ,specialising in photography narrative .

I offer a supportive environment in which to work .
I’m afraid I don’t teach software focussing mainly in the Animation pipeline .
With my lessons you will start from basics and leave with a firm understanding if the Animation and film process .
