I'm a trained teacher of English as a second language. I am from Scotland and have lived here all my life. I have both TEFL and CELTA certificates and a teacher of young learners certificate. I have experience in teaching both adults and teenagers, both online and in person .Prior to teaching English I was a nurse with young people and I have both a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree.

I will tailor lessons to your needs. In teaching teenagers online I use a variety of interactive methods, including songs, videos and photos. In teaching both adults and teenagers I include poetry, lessons to practice reading and pronunciation, and grammar lessons using both my own format and that of other sites. I like to introduce some British culture and history into the lessons and as I live in Scotland I like to talk about the beautiful places that we have here to visit. If you have specific grammar requirements I can tailor the lesson around these.
