To begin with we will identify short and long term goals for you as a guitarist/musician, then I will create lesson plans which will act as stepping stones towards your big goals, whilst encompassing the smaller/shorter term goals.

I will always ensure that you feel that you are progressing steadily and are able to identify the new skills you have learned along the way. I can assist in more specific aspects of musicianship, for example; creating and playing interesting arrangements, developing your own unique playing style, songwriting, practical music theory, playing as part of an ensemble, improvisation and so much more. I will always follow your direction as the learner, checking in regularly to ensure you are getting the most out of our time together.

I will aim to always keep lessons fun and light-hearted, ensuring that the pace and content of lessons is specific to your needs.
In addition to tailored lessons, you will have access to the many excellent resources I have developed or co-developed over the years, making sure that there is plenty of opportunity for self-directed learning (which I think can be one of , if not the most effective form of learning.)

I will always take into consideration your personal music taste and preferences in order to ensure you look forward to learning the next song, piece or technique.
