My background experience is within the Jazz music field. I have trained for years, and have performed live as solo and as part of a group. I have a lot of teaching experience and knowledge to share. I also was classical trained and have both 1-5 in jazz and grade 1-8 Classical.

My view is that students learn best when listening/understanding, then recognising and playing or speaking back that music. I cover rhythm, Aural techniques, technique on piano as well as activities and structured lessons. I adapt a personalised plan for each student however the philosophy and view stays the same. I know piano and music can be both education and fun and I want to share that experience with my students.
