I have worked in both primary and secondary schools. I strive to increase confidence with the subject and one way I do this is by familiarising children with the types of questions they are likely to see in exams and tests. I like to work through the problems with the children and model the best way to approach questions. I like to play mathematical games with children to help develop their love for the subject and engage them with lessons.
