I make sure to make my lessons as engaging and interactive as possible. In order for this to happen, I use a range of various resources and try to accommodate to different learning styles. This is because the best learning styles are different from person to person, for example some may benefit more from visual aids, whereas someone else may benefit more from auditory aids. I also attempt to specifically target what the student struggles with, or what is holding them back from achieving their desired grade/level. Despite this, I find it is essential for a teacher to avoid placing too much pressure on students. Instead, teachers should be understanding of what students find difficult and why. Once this is established, teachers should work with their student and develop a plan which is suitable for both parties and carry it out. Moreover, I believe it is important to set both short-term and long-term goals mutually with students. This will allow both the student and teacher to have a clear plan of what to do during each lesson, as well as in between lessons. Also, this means that both parties will stay focused on their goals and achieve them in the desired time, or even earlier than expected. Every lesson will be tailored specifically to match these goals, and will be aligned with how the student is currently progressing, due to the fact that everyone learns at different rates. I look forward to meeting you and teaching you English! Thank you
