Hello, future media and communication students!
In my lessons, you can expect an interactive and inclusive environment that supports all learning styles. Whether you’re a visual learner, an auditory learner, or someone who thrives through hands-on practice, I make use of a wide range of pedagogical tools to engage you. These tools might include video analysis, collaborative discussions, writing exercises, and peer feedback sessions where appropriate.
The format of each lesson often starts with a theoretical framework or storytelling concept, followed by practical examples from film, television, or digital media. We then move into hands-on activities where you can apply the lesson directly—perhaps through scene writing, story development, or media analysis.
I draw on my years of experience as a script consultant, working with a variety of organizations, to help you not only understand storytelling but also master the art of effective communication. Whether you’re analyzing a film for its narrative structure or crafting your own project, you’ll find my approach dynamic, supportive, and creative.
We also focus on inclusivity, ensuring all voices are heard, and I encourage collaboration among students to build a strong sense of community and shared learning. My goal is for you to leave each lesson with both the tools and the confidence to communicate.
