In terms of lessons, I will orchestrate a basic structure for you to follow. On our initial briefing session, I think it is wise to spend 15-20 minutes getting to know each other. In particular, I will use this time to get to know your academic records and preferred learning styles, and we can can go from there. This session would be free of charge as it helps me decide whether I feel I can guide the student to excellence.

What's important to note is that I will accommodate you.
I will lead with recommendations of methods I have tried and tested but ultimately, you may learn differently to others I have mentored and we will keep trying new methods until we identify a pattern that optimises your learning behaviours.

To begin with, we can try visual explanations, with diagrams and drawings as well as theoretical explanations. I may even ask you to complete a free online quiz that will tell you whether you are a visual learner or not, for example. I will also implement auditory methods to help reinforce information. At the end of the day, I will be adapting my strategies to the student.

One thing I will always try to enforce is the use of spaced repetition, which I can explain in more detail during the initial briefing. It is a notorious concept in the world of learning, that returns excellent results no matter the student.
