I have an experience of working in a school setting for more than 6 years ,teaching different age groups. So I would like to share my experience. When I was a teacher, I always had a plan with me. My plan followed a format which included Recapping of the previous lesson, Deliver a lesson with suitable examples, some reinforcement activities, ask questions related to the topic from the students and at the end give them a feedback. I used this approach in order to make students get involved. It is a hard work and time consuming to plan a lesson by using this approach but it lays a foundation for a students success. Students get bored very easily, so a lesson plan must be engaging we can see technology has been playing an important role in student learning.
I had a great experience working with children. In my opinion, teaching is always a learning process and it is rewarding. I always felt good and happy when ever My students were understanding the concepts that I was teaching. Not all students are in a group in a class. There used to be a situation when some of the student struggled in some areas but with my patience and heart, I was able to help them understand the topic. This was the time when I had a feeling of accomplishment. For me teaching is not just sharing knowledge but it helps in forming a bond between your students.
