I want my students to feel confident in all topics so I follow a system where I do multiple examples until my students feel confident, I will then decrease the level of scaffolding provided to allow for students to practice independently which will then be mastered through the use of exam style questions. I want my students to be able to come to me with any topic even if it is not following the scheme of work we are on right now so we can work on it to ensure they are feeling confident in their own abilities.
