Hi there! I’m Sara a current second year medical student with a keen passion for teaching. I took Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Higher Maths in GCSE receiving 8-9 grades. At A-Level I took Chemistry, Biology and Maths as well as AS Level Physics receiving grades A-A*s.
Having completed Sixth form relatively recently, I am very familiar with the content, level of work required and formatting of the exams. My goal in tutoring is to improve your confidence, understanding and application in the subject of your choice.
I have tutored many students over time have developed a lesson format aimed to improve your confidence, application and understanding of knowledge in your subject of choice.
Lesson formats would be loosely based on the following:
1. Setting goals - what do you want to achieve in this session?
2. Understanding where you are at - what do you currently understand and what do you need help with?
3. Working through content together.
4. Working through content alone, with guidance.
5. I will then give you some “homework” consisting of some simple exercises in the areas of needed improvement (if I think it is necessary.
You only go through primary and secondary school once, with the aid of tutoring you will be able to maximise your potential to put you in the best possible position for university applications or other career pathways.
As previously stated, the lesson format is very malleable and can be adapted. If you have any further queries please do contact me!
