Hi, I'm Sara.
I am a native Italian, born and raised in Rome.
I’m an experienced certified Italian teacher.
I have a Master's degree in Didactics of Italian as Foreign Language at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
I attended a postgraduate in "Teaching Italian to foreign students” at Dilit, International House of Rome. Getting these degrees have helped me become a better teacher and has given me tools and resources to help my students perform at the higher level.
I have been teaching Italian language for more than 5 years at the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences Auxilium to religious students from all over the world and online to Canadian Government employees.
The structure of my Italian classes is based on the communicative method that aims to help students to learn the Italian language, according to their needs and objectives in a funny and quick way. In the afternoon I teach Italian online to homeschooled students. In order to create an enriched learning environment during my class I don’t put any limits to the ways to use technology. Along with notes, calls, conferences…I will be using texting service, ClassKick, an app that allows teachers to post assignments for students, Kahoot, a game-based classroom response system, Quizzlet and many other tools. I believe that integrating technology into classrooms allows for more and more effective communication between students and teachers. Classes will be dynamic and will be continuously monitored to verify that the student is fully developing the proposed objectives.
