For the first session it would be more about learning about what areas you need help in/ extra support. Then planning sessions and activities which can help you. I am currently at University studying to be an adult nurse. I have always had an interest in English and I am willing to help in anyway I can. I finished my GCSEs in 2019 and went to college to redo my maths, science and English to gain higher grades. There will be no judgement, I can cater to you in anyway. From my experience I understand how stressful school life is from GCSEs and wondering what comes after; I am here to help alleviate any worries. I also understand being an older student redoing English and how isolating that can be.I have a 7 in English literature and language. My sessions would be catered towards you: how you learn, what helps, what doesn’t, what resources you have used. Even if you’re not sure we can try and see what helps and what doesn’t. I am available anytime- although that may vary during term times but I can ensure to be there for weekends and another times/ days you require. I will let you know beforehand what days I am available and what times work for me. I am hoping that I can encourage you and help you learn and love English.
