Looking for a Maths, Physics, or guitar tutor? Look no further !!! Hi there :), I'm Santjit, a 20 year old student at the University of Portsmouth, studying a degree called "Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology". In terms of experience, I am fairly new to tutoring, however, I had almost five years of experience as an assistant karate coach, as well as six months as a lab technician in a college(often assisting in explaining physics concepts related to experiments, to students), and as a librarian in a secondary school(often helping students with their homework), both things that gave me a fairly unique perspective on teaching young people. Lessons you can expect to have with me, will be entirely flexible and tailored to each individual student and their respective needs. Mainly, we will go through homework, questions you've seen in class and didn't quite understand and past papers. When it comes to teaching specific concepts, I am a fan of of breaking down difficult concepts to their bare fundamental building blocks, and building from there, sort of like academic Lego. The main reason I am looking to teach, is because my classmates at uni often come to me with questions and concepts they don't understand, and seem to all leave with a good understanding of what they were struggling with. They often tell me I should put my talent of teaching and explaining to use, so here i am :))) I have also included that i teach how to play the guitar, as i have been playing for the past 6 or 7 years as a self taught musician, and can teach the fundamentals.
