The sessions cover any areas the student would like to work on, whether it's understanding challenging concepts, practicing problem-solving, or revising effectively.
The format of the lessons typically includes a combination of explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving, depending on the student’s preferences and goals. I provide high-quality Grade 9 notes in both presentation and document formats, which include clear summaries of key topics, examples, and useful tips for exam success. These resources are designed to make revision efficient and straightforward. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and take an active role in their own progress.
My own experience includes achieving Grade 9s in Maths (Edexcel), Chemistry (AQA), Biology (AQA), Physics (AQA), English Literature (AQA), German (Edexcel), and Art (OCR), as well as an FSMQ (OCR) Grade A. I’ve worked at Kumon and been tutored one-on-one myself, so I understand how to structure lessons to make the most of the time available.
