The way I teach is topic by topic, we would start with biological molecules, then cells, then gas exchange and so on, after we have understood the content, i move onto exam technique. This is just past paper questions, since getting the marks in biology is mainly exam content, the majority of our sessions would be based on completing them. After the entire specification is learned, we will move onto the essay technique. I will be taking into consideration the techniques that your specific sixth form uses and integrating that into the sessions as well

I found this technique worked the best in achieving my Grade A in biology, it was the easiest and most time efficient method. That being said, everyone is different and my previous students preferred learning in different ways. That is why I approach my sessions in a “you ask, I do” manner to ensure you get the most out of every session.

Exam technique varies on each exam board and because I am only confident in AQA exam technique, I will only be able to tutor students on this exam board as well.
