Sandro Cagnin

Through my teaching experiences, I have developed my time management skills, the ability to work on my own initiative and to collaborate with other teachers. I have experience teaching at language schools, international schools, as well as at the university level, where I have taught basic linguistics to grad students, focusing on syntax, morphology, phonetics, phonology, and semantics. My knowledge of foreign languages and linguistics allowed me to excel at curriculum development and second language learning execution. This included the assessment and evaluation of pronunciation and structural errors common to non-native English-speaking students, as well as the development of language learners’ syntax structures.

Having lived overseas in China for over 20 years I enriched my knowledge not only of the language but also of the customs and culture in general. Since I worked as a professor at Chinese universities I improved my teaching skills and my ability to detect problems related to foreign language acquisition. I am motivated to work diligently and creatively in this role; therefore, I believe that I can be relied on to complete projects on time and do the very best work that I can do as a private tutor.
