I understand how to structure sessions to gain the best out of my students. I have the experience and knowledge to identify the specific topics that students find challenging. I then target these areas to develop deep sustainable understanding, building on what students can already do. I am an experienced online tutor using different platforms and can adapt how I present these sessions to suit the needs and learning styles of different students. I can access a wide range of resources to support highly effective online teaching of mathematics. I have supported students through their exam preparation for all the main awarding organisation. I use JamBoard to engage actively in the work student are doing so I can give live targeted feedback and support as they work. I provide links to engaging online activities and links to videos that students can use to consolidate their learning following each session.
