Hello, my name is Sana, and I’m an online ESL/EFL instructor (English as a Second Language and English as a Foreign Language). I am a Ph.D. graduate in English Language and Literature from the Lebanese University, and I’m passionate about helping learners improve their English language skills. I have taught English to individuals and groups of students looking to improve their conversational English, as well as to corporate professionals interested in advancing their business English skills. I have also taught intensive English courses including all 4 skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) as well as writing and speaking courses at the university level.

As a bilingual myself (I am native in both English and Arabic), I understand how a bilingual brain works and the effects of the first language on the learning process of the second language. Additionally, I always adapt my lessons to your needs and work hard to improve my teaching techniques so that I can provide my students with better lessons.

I consider it an honor to assist learners, and being a tutor gives me a lot of satisfaction. As a dedicated educator and lifelong learner, I have extensive expertise in both group settings and one-on-one settings.

I've had the chance to help many students through their learning process, and I've witnessed time and time again the enormous effects that success in English learning has had on students' lives. I've discovered that some approaches are far more effective and efficient than others at developing proficient English speakers, both through my education and from vast personal experience. I've also given private lessons to adults who wanted to boost their confidence in their ability to speak English in a professional setting. Conversation and discussion are extremely important to me since I adhere to the principles of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT).
