The whole course would be reviewed for National 5 chemistry, all SQA guidelines would be followed and websites such as Scholar, Achieve, Twig and BBC bitesize would be highly recommended. Course content would be simplified into relevant SQA wordings, constant reminders of things you need to say.
Additional support would incorporate forms quizzes as well as traffic light sheets. Past papers would also be thoroughly evaluated. The issue of mini-assignments each lesson which would be marked to provide constructive feedback.
Leisure tasks to reinforce learning and to give an even more in depth understanding of chemistry at certain moments we would look back into the past to consolidate what we have learnt in the present.
Glow blogs and websites such as JAB chemistry would be used.
Some students struggle with words such as valid, reliable and accurate. Questions which challenges understanding on them would be regularly brought up.
In terms of online tutoring experience, this would be my first and it is also to my understanding that the National 5 Chemistry exams take place on the 23rd of May. I would use the best of my abilities to help and support as many students as possible within and beyond that time period. It would make me extremely joyful knowing faces brazen with confidence stand into their respective halls and beast with confidence. After all on a personal note, it's my birthday
