My experience teaching Engish to students from all around the world means that I have a deep understanding of what learners with a wide range of backgrounds and needs require. As an academic, I am very experienced in teaching general and business English, as well as IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation classes. I also have extensive experience assessing students in English language testing, meaning I will give you honest and accurate feedback about your progress and work methodically on ways for you to improve.

In our lessons, there will be a big emphasis on speaking and communication. For many learners, speaking is one of the most difficult skills to master. My communicative way of teaching will help you achieve fluency, accuracy, and confidence as we work together to correct and improve the language you produce.

Importantly, I listen carefully to the unique needs of each of my students and create custom lessons to help you improve areas of weakness and build on your strengths in any skill. YOU are the student and therefore at the centre of the learning experience. As well as improving your English, I will help you develop your independence as a student and teach you academic skills that will help you in your academic and professional life.
