I believe that when tutoring a student, it is most important to truly understand the heart of the issue so that it can be addressed properly. Having just finished sixth form myself, I am patient, empathetic and relatable in my approach. My maths teacher recognised this and put me forward to become a maths mentor, weekly supporting a younger student to answer any questions they had and using examples to help further their understanding.

I have completed education up to A levels, sitting exams in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, with offers to study Engineering at the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London. I have been predicted 4 A*s, demonstrating my proficiency in these subjects, and strongly believe that I have achieved these grades.

I can teach Physics and Chemistry at GCSE level, and can teach Maths up to A levels. I can work with any age, including primary school and can offer tutoring for SATs and 11+.

In my lessons I can take either topics or specific questions from the student, ensuring we understand what the focus of the lesson should be and then I can explain the topics or walkthrough how to answer the questions, before providing extra questions to test and solidify the understanding of the student.
