I am an experienced and enthusiastic academic tutor with a PhD in Gender & Sexuality Studies from UCL. An interdisciplinary degree, my expertise spans across gender studies, sociology, anthropology, history, and feminist/queer theory and I can tutor any subjects related to these fields. Having worked as a postgraduate tutor and marker on UCL’s Gender, Society, and Representation MA, I also possess expert knowledge on writing essays, dissertations, research proposals, and applications up to a postgraduate level. As a tutor, I not only draw from my experience as a staff member of a top British university, but from my time as a student as well, recognising the unique challenges each student faces in a high-pressure environment and adapting each session to best suit their needs. Providing one-on-one essay feedback and helping students think through essay/dissertation ideas during my time at UCL, I have developed the necessary skillset to assist students at various levels develop and, crucially, clearly present their own ideas.
