At the start of the lesson I go through homework and tasks assigned from the previous lesson.

If I see the student hasn’t understood clearly how to solve the math in the homework, I work with the student on the problem and give similar math to solve till the student becomes more confident at it and can solve it independently.

Once I am satisfied the student has learnt the previous lesson well, I will start a new chapter where I will first explain the mathematical logic and rules to solve the problem and encourage the student to try to do it own their own and ask questions if they have any questions or get stuck.

I score all classwork as it helps me to understand the progress of the student better. Towards the end of the class I will assignment homework. I prefer to take quizzes once a week.

I design the study material tailored to the student’s level of learning and I collect all study materials from accredited sources.
