As a recent Economics graduate from the University of Leicester, achieving a First Class Degree with Honours, I aim to pass on the skills and knowledge I have acquired during my studies onto my students. I believe that lessons should be designed around my students syllabus and prefer to tackle the concepts or content which is deemed the hardest to learn for my particular student. In my experience of receiving tutoring, I would often say I understand the topic after my tutor would go through content with me, when in reality I did not. I would like my students to feel comfortable enough with me to say that they don’t fully understand the concepts or content I am teaching them and I will adjust my teaching style accordingly.
