Engagement is key to my teaching style - I believe this comes from providing a range of activities such as puzzles, two-player games, role-play etc in any lesson, to stimulate the mind and keep learning enjoyable. Discovery is also a large part of my ethos; this involves facilitating students to find new learning and facts through investigation, questioning and thinking - this way they become leaders of their own learning, rather than shallow observers. Finally, differentiation is also key to how each lesson is tailored; students will always be given a chance to work on the areas they have previously struggled with.
