During my training as a teacher, I was exposed to various methods of teaching and ways to interact with the students. I have experience in teaching one-to-one learners and supporting their communicative language skills. Also, due to an internship as an English language teacher assistant in a primary school, I have experience in teaching KS1-level students. As a result of this, I learned to determine and meet the student’s needs as well as to remain sensitive to these, to provide individual and group support, to integrate multicultural teaching units, and to offer positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep students focused and motivated.
My teaching philosophy is that every student is unique and has different learning needs and ways, so I adapt my teaching accordingly. Having empathy is also very important to me as I have been a learner too.
My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and communicative. I try not to be boring by using immersive learning materials and working with the student's interests.
