I love teaching becuase as a young person and student, I completely get the struggles of trying to understand concepts, and how hard subjects can be. I wish to pass my knowledge on and help others to understand the concepts that they have been struggling with, so that they can truly love the subject and pursue the career of their dreams!
I starting mentoring when I was in Year 6 - but have been tutoring KS3 and GCSE students for 4 years, helping them to achieve the top grades (8s and 9s) in their exams across all subjects.
My teaching style is all about interactive learning, where concepts come to life through engaging activities and real-world applications. I focus on building a strong foundation and then challenging you with creative problem-solving tasks before moving onto exam style questions. I wish to create a supportive environment to ask questions and explore ideas together!
I have been teaching children for years, and achieved the highest grades in the country for GCSE (9s and 8s) (end of high school exams in the UK). Currently an Ambassador of Faith and Belief meaning I am trained in teaching children 5-11 Religious Studies and Philosophy. I have experience in tutoring Maths and English to children 5-13, and mentoring GCSE students in humanities subjects and Maths.
