My lessons start with icebreakers along with brainstorming. Followed by direct instruction, questioning, discussion. My experience using these strategies has been great. Direct instruction or lecture helped my students easily acquire knowledge of terms, basic facts, and simple concepts. Lectures are as effective, but not more effective, than other methods in transmitting simple information. Regarding questioning it encouraged my students to engage with their work and each other. Helped students to think out loud. Facilitated learning through active discussion. Empowered students to feel confident about their proved speaking and listening skills. I also use presentation method of teaching. Its advantages are Up-to-date info can be given quickly and simultaneously.
Learners quickly get overview of subject.
Learners can be stimulated by good lecturer. I also use brainstorming method. The advantages are Supports learning in a relaxed environment. Strengthens problem-based learning. Encourages creative thought. I am a passionate and hardworking individual. I am always willing to learn. My strengths are time management, organisational skills, innovation. My lesson would be aimed at learners from fourth, fifth and sixth grade. My last job was at Knowza Learning Britannia Education Group) a UK based online training provider). I worked as an assessor and Internal Quality Assurer for teaching, teaching assistant assessor and a few other qualifications. Interacted through calls, messages and email with learners in UK, USA, UAE. During my stay here, i got the opportunity to be a call agent, live chat agent, assisted in drafting Newsletters, organised annual events. Won accolades for being the most passionate employee, role model and employee of the quarter and employee of the year. Besides this i have experience in teaching in a few other institutions such as Concordia Group of Colleges, SOS Villages, Beaconhouse etc.
