My lessons start with me explaining the process or the basic concept of a maths problem. I then solve a question and write down the steps I follow to get to the solution. I then solve another question, this time engaging my students, as in asking them for the answer to each step. After I’m sure that the method is clear to my pupils, I ask them to practice some more problems and go through the answers together to see if any doubt is present. I give homework regularly to keep students engaged and practice what they’ve learned.

Don’t be worried if you cannot catch something readily; I will go in a pace that suits you. I however expect full concentration from you and answer any questions you might have. If the lesson feels too lengthy, I’m happy to give you a short break or play a game together!
