as a the second oldest sister of 5, i have experience with dealing with younger children making me more compassionate and understanding. i also have helped my siblings with their subjects in what they need assistance with. if i were to hold lessons they will be set around the students preferences. by this i mean that it would be revolved around specific areas that the student personally struggle with. since i aim to teach younger students i think this allows me to be beneficial as younger students, although don't need that much focus academically, i believe that teaching things that you struggle on early on helps develop your skills in the future. this is one of many of my values.
adding on to the fact i am planning to tutor students younger than me i would refrain from using overwhelming levels of teaching and instead insist on a more lenient and controlled sessions so that there isn't to much pressure put on the students themselves. during these sessions i would prefer following a set structure that breaks down the teaching in ways that help the students know what to expect. this also helps them get ready for the future as once they reach secondary school they may feel intimidated by the drastic changes that come from moving from lower school to higher school.
on a final note i would like to mention that i think myself as someone who can bring the potential out of someone in terms pf their aspirations or passion. this is because i am a great listener to people who have issues/problems regarding their work.
