Samantha Greenfield-Lee

I am a recent Electronic Engineering graduate, with an MEng from Royal Holloway University. I had many maths-based modules, which only enhanced my preexisting love of maths.
Before university, I tutored maths for about 7 years, mainly one young lady who was trying to get into a private high school (she did!). I found it to be incredibly rewarding to help break down seemingly confusing and overwhelming concepts into digestible chunks - I remember learning maths at school and often finding that my teachers would overcomplicate alot of concepts, and feeling like maths wasn't for me - but with the help of my own tutors (both on youtube and those hired by my parents) I learned that maths wasn't so scary and was actually enjoyable! I went on to get an A* in maths GCSE and a B in maths A-Level. I would love the opportunity to help others overcome their fear of maths.
My approach to lesson plans is working with the parents and students to find a catered approach to the individual, each person is different and responds differently to different learning methods.
