When tutoring, I like to firstly address the most problematic areas for the student. From there I will design an individual tutor plan to strengthen these areas, including past exam style questions, new ways of remembering and learning these techniques, and delving into the root of the issue from as far back as required. I am bubbly, confident and enthusiastic about teaching and education generally… especially maths!
My Qualifications: I achieved 7 National 5’s at A grade, 6 Highers, 4 A’s and 2 B’s (chemistry and German). As well as this I did achieve Advanced Highers in Statistics and Biology. I am now in my third year studying at the University of Glasgow where I am learning Statistics (including Mathematics) and Accounting.
My experience: I have tutored students throughout school, and also privately on my year out of education prior to University: an extremely rewarding process for both tutor and student.
