As a recent A-level graduate achieving AAB with a strong academic background and currently in my first year in University of Sheffield, I possess a deep understanding of the challenges and strategies associated with exam success. I am well-versed in effective revision techniques including active recall. memory strategies and exam application for achieving top marks. I have previous experience as a tutor at KipMcGrath which has equipped me with valuable skills, enabling me to effectively communicate complex concepts to students of varying abilities.
Furthermore my work at primary school after-school clubs has fostered my ability to connect with younger learners too, allowing me to build rapport and create a supportive and engaging learning environment. Due to my Psychology background, I have also participated in work experience and conducting reasoning tasks with neurodivergent individuals, emphasising the importance of patience, understanding and tailored approaches.
I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential. My teaching style is characterised by clear explanations, engaging tasks and pre-planned customised lesson plans to address individual learning styles and pace. I am able to identify areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback to help students build on confidence and achieve their academic goals. I also offer comprehensive homework support, ensuring students have the resources and guidance they need to succeed.
