I use oral, written and video methods with the opportunity to see me demonstrate aswell as for the student to engage with their own models.
I use power point and word docs plus the ability to update e portfolios.
Each learner is different In their needs and learning type so I tailor my lessons to each individual learner and try yo engage them in a way which they find most enjoyable.
The use of videos filmed in the salon and the opportunity to visit my own salon is also a valuable learning experience.
I will cover every aspect of hairdressing from basic skills such as holding your scissors to client consultation, colouring and barbering plus I will introduce you to the skills required to perform other male grooming services.
We will interact with my own clients vis we links with the opportunity to see how different stylists work giving you a diverse and thorough learning experience.
We will also cover health and safety and anatomy and physiology.
In addition to this I encourage my learners to submit videos of their own work for appraisal and offer in person demonstrations at your place of work or home/ college.
I will personally work through your e portfolio with you and help you to be completely ready for your your end pint assessment.
