Lessons are individually catered to students needs using a combination of presentation styles. Sessions will follow the general principles of "I do, we do, you do" giving students worked examples and addressing potential misconceptions before providing an opportunity for students to have a go.
Learning follows the principals of concrete/pictorial/abstract, providing initial straightforward examples to develop fluency before applying in more abstract situations. Extensive exam practice is crucial to cover all the ways that questions can be framed in examinations and will be provided.

I specialise in supporting KS4 learners at foundation level but also have extensive experience in supporting higher students on their journey. I also have years of experience delivering KS3 lessons and tutoring students to develop their Maths skills at Key stage 2 preparing for 11 plus and SATS

I also have experience in supporting international students with ALEXS prep for class placement assessments and entrance to college and university in the United States


I have extensive experience in supporting students with SEND, ranging from ADHD, ASC, Dyslexia and processing needs. As a former SENCo, I am proficient in analysing EHCP's and can provide tailored learning to support targets outlined in the EHCP. I can also support with identification of need and can support EHCP applications by providing reports of sessions to support local authority applications.
