In my lessons, I am gonna be using different formats such as.
Demonstration method : This involves the viewing of the real or life like example executed by the tutor or learner. It's mostly a show manship of particular skill or technique in the execution of a particular activity.
Learners observe the behavior or skill demonstrated by the tutor or student and mimics it exactly.
Some times, the demostrated activity can be carried out by the media such as video, slides etc.
Tutor sends feedback to the Learners who in turn make corrections and then practice again till the desired skill is achieved.
It allows for prompt and quick knowledge of results and correction of mistakes in the execution of the activity.
Lecture method: In this method factual material is presented to the students in a logical,direct manner.
It is one way instruction method controlled solely by the tutor with no immediate response from learners.
Other sources apart from the tutor can be text book used for research/ reference, recorded audiotape which students are supposed to listen to and draw the content.
Video tape where learners watch and see real life like examples.
Discussion method , here students make use of reference books for research and then actively get involved in the lesson discussion.
In the discussion method, students will be able to understand the subject better and also exposing students to many teaching methods that creat a conducive learning environment
