I am passionate about mental health and as an accredited psychotherapist I aim to combine this experience with my yoga practice. Both disciplines compliment each other as they both look at developing the body and the mind and enhancing the link between them.
I have done yoga for more years than I can remember and I benefit from the practice on a regular basis. It stills my mind, physically pushing me to continue to enhance my practice and to appreciate myself for all my efforts.
I have evolved a lot through my training and practice as a teacher.I’ve come to appreciate how individual we all our in our bodies .Its important for me to get you to pay attention to the difference in you so that you don’t cause yourself damage.I will get you to focus on your body to challenge it but within your own boundaries of natural ability.
There will be space to focus on breathing techniques also to deepen your practice. I will not rush techniques allowing you time to build your confidence in your developing skills so that you can build on them. I’m happy to work with beginners through to advanced yoga practitioners.
My hope is that you leave my class celebrating, understanding and loving your uniqueness’s.
